“Echo Chamber”, 2025

I was so surprised by the result of the Brexit vote, I realised I had been living in an echo chamber. Everyone I followed on social media all seemed to have the same political opinions as me, and so I had assumed that was the majority view - how wrong I was! Originally, I expressed this idea as an illustration but I couldn’t get it out of my head and so I had to paint it.
